A New Chapter in World Orchid Conference History
Knowledge Shared. Knowledge Preserved. Knowledge Accessible.
For more than 70 years, the World Orchid Conference has been the leading international forum for orchid science and horticulture. Each conference has added to our shared knowledge through presentations by researchers, conservationists, breeders, and growers from around the world. Until now, most of that knowledge has stayed in printed Proceedings, available mainly to conference attendees and owners of the printed volumes.
Today, that changes.
Thanks to the generosity of the Taiwan Orchid Growers Association (TOGA), the Proceedings of the 2021 Virtual World Orchid Conference and of the 23rd World Orchid Conference (Tainan, Taiwan) are now available online through the World Orchid Conference Trust website. This is the first time official WOC Proceedings have been made freely available in digital form.
These volumes hold hundreds of pages of scientific papers, horticultural presentations, conservation research, and historical records, now open to orchid enthusiasts, students, researchers, and growers worldwide.
